EH 7895 :: How to register the store category hierarchy?
See how to create the store categories and subcategories tree.
Follow thses steps to register the subcategories:
Go to User modules and active the Advanced features module.
Mark the Subcategories field on the STORE CONFIGURATION > Products path of the control panel.
Register the parent category through the PRODUCTS > Add categories path.
Register the first subcategory in the PRODUCTS > Add categories path. Select the parent category.
To register the other subcategories, repeat the step 4.
See the final result of your subcategory structure in the PRODUCTS > Show categories path.
After following this procedure, the store products can be registered in their respective subcategories.
